Jump Off
--Open your vocabulary book to Unit #6.  Look through the list of words and put a star next to all of the words that you are pretty confident about knowing already.

Vocabulary Instruction -- Vocabulary Unit #6
--Go over the Unit #6 word list.
--Quietly and independently complete all of the Unit #6 exercises in the vocabulary book.
--Go over the answers to vocabulary exercises.
--For HW, begin preparing for the Unit #6 assessment, which will take place this Friday.

--For the remaining class time, students are to work quietly and independently at their desks studying the vocabulary words or on work from other classes (two students at a time can go to lockers using the wooden hall passes located on the shelf next to the classroom door).

HW
Optional assignments:
--Review literature terms, especially those with which you are currently struggling, as you will be expected to know/apply these terms throughout the rest of the unit and on the 7 Habits Unit Exam (which will tentatively take place on Friday, 1/11/2013).
Mandatory assignments:
--Continue preparing for the Unit #6 vocabulary assessment, which will take place this Friday.
--Bring your vocabulary book again next class in case the book is needed for review.
