English 10--10/11/2018

Jump Off (5 mins.)
--Take out your notebook and date the page in the lefthand margin (10/11).  Then, please find your name on the front board.  Jot down what you know about the parts of a paragraph under which your name is listed.  (For example, Leah will jot down what a "claim" is and what (an) "all-encompassing concluding sentence(s)" is/are.  [Maybe she will even jot down the connection between the two!].)  If you need some assistance completing this task, feel free to pick up a copy of the "A Paragraph's a Paragraph's a Paragraph!" sheet from the front table.  Good luck!
