--Obtain your Chromebook from the cart in the back of the classroom.

--log in to Membean where today's quiz will deploy
--complete the quiz quietly and independently--good luck!
--When you finish, take out your book and engage in free reading until you receive further instructions.

--Please take out your "Basic Counterargument Paragraph Template" sheet.  Then, pick up a copy of the "Methods of Refutation" sheet from the front table.  We will add at least two more methods to this document before the course ends (and practice implementing said methods)!

--Finish both outlining AND writing your AoW #1 counterargument paragraph using the "Basic Counterargument Paragraph Template" and the "WRITING COMPONENT--Method of Refutation #1" sheet.  Expect to place your best work in the black basket on the front table at the beginning of class on Monday, 1/14.
--Continue thinking about the following End-of-Course Assignment question: What is your "why?"?
