--Obtain your Chromebook from the cart in the back of the classroom.  After logging in, log in to Membean and set up and complete a 15-minute training session.  Once you finish training, take out your book and engage in free reading until you receive further instructions.

Assessment -- Vocabulary Quiz #2 (10-15 mins.)
--log back in to Chromebook
--log back in to Membean where today's quiz will deploy
--complete the quiz quietly and independently--good luck!
--When you finish, fully shutdown your Chromebook, return it to the proper slot, and plug it in via the proper cord.  Then, continue engaging in free reading until you receive further instructions.

--Please pick up a copy of the "Free Reading--Course Component Fulfillment Options for Marking Periods 1 and 2" sheet from the front table.

Looking Ahead/DEAR (15-20 mins.)
--oral reading of assignment sheet/Q & A
--continue engaging in free reading and/or begin working on this assignment
