English 10 Honors--12/5/2016

Jump Off
--Spend a few minutes getting yourself situated for writing (take out notes, outlines, etc.).  If you have not already done so, briefly look at the sample writing piece that you picked up at the end of last class block, which might help you organize today's writing piece:
  • PRO: Organization
    • How is this writing piece organized?
    • How might you organize your writing piece?
  • GROW: Style within introduction and conclusion
    • What advice would you give the writer in order to improve his/her introduction and conclusion?
    • How might you craft your introduction and conclusion (if you decide to organize your writing piece in this manner)?

--Pick up a copy of the "End-of-Unit Writing Assessment (Regents Part 3)" document from the front table.  After purposefully reading the information on the top half of the first page and the rubric, complete your best work in the time permitted.  You have from now until class ends!
