Jump Off
--Pick up the Unit #10 vocabulary quiz from the front table.  Make sure to carefully read all of the directions.  Complete the quiz quietly and independently back at your desk.  Good luck!

--Reminder: It is important for you to stay caught up with regard to all of your coursework.  It would behoove you to check the blog and SchoolTool often.  Additionally, if you have an "NG" for a Marking Period, following up with me ASAP is in your best interest.

--continue purposefully viewing the film--compile information and ideas for discussion by jotting down notes and responses

HW (Class Preparation)
--Finish purposefully/actively reading Divergent by the beginning of our final class together, which is next class (Friday, 6/10).  This includes taking detailed notes on the page related to your faction/group as well as completing three or more "Notice & Note" Post-its and any additional Post-its related to anything worth discussing.  Review your purposeful/active reading notes as preparation for the writing section of the English 9 Final Examination.
--Bring your copy of Divergent as well as anything else that belongs to me next class.  If you do not turn in items that do not belong to you, you will be charged accordingly!
--If you are supposed to bring something next class (e.g., refreshments) as per arrangements that we made, please do not forget to do so!
HW (Final Exam Preparation)
--The English 9 Final Examination will take place on Thursday, 6/16 during the 11:10 AM - 2:10 PM time slot.  Prepare for a successful performance via the review sheet, materials in your binder, etc.
