Writing
--Move forward on your "End-of-Novella-Unit Literary Analysis Written Response" by completing your first paragraph by the beginning of class on Friday, 3/15.  We will work in class again on Wednesday, 3/13 and Friday, 3/15.
  • What is a strong theme statement for the novella?
  • What additional pieces of evidence from the novella do you intend to use?
--Continue thinking about the following questions:
  • Research Unit: What might you argue with regard to your research topic?
    • At this point, you should have at least two proper sources printed out and actively/purposefully read.  Continuing to read in this manner should help you zero in on your argument!
  • End-of-Course Assignment: What is your "why?"?
HW (Class Preparation)
--FINISH your free reading book.  Work toward fulfillment of the Free Reading Course Component for Marking Periods 3 and 4 as per the parameters set forth in the document you received last class block.
