--Wrap up anything that you were unable to complete in class today as preparation for the next two class blocks (your Lord of the Flies analysis task and/or finishing our text-based academic argument).
--You will finish taking the examination that you have been working on in class beginning NEXT TIME (Thursday, 4/25). The last section involves reading four texts and writing a text-based essay in response to a question about the sources. In other words, you will do what we have done together over the course of our last few class blocks together!
--Actively/purposefully read CHAPTER FIVE of Lord of the Flies. Then, complete the analysis task as per the "Lord of the Flies--CHAPTER FIVE" sheet as further preparation for discussion and/or to turn in as an assessment. This assignment is due at the beginning of class on Monday, 4/29.
--Read at least 10 pages of your memoir between now and next class. ALWAYS BRING YOUR FREE READING BOOK TO CLASS! These final two marking periods, I will randomly check for books and include your level of preparation in my reporting via Schooltool.
