• How can you attend to this purpose before, during, and after the upcoming oral reading block?

--Complete the "Artifact Bag" assignment as directed to turn in at the beginning of class on Friday, 9/13 (ACE) or Monday, 9/16 (BDF).  I am looking forward to taking "breaks in the action" the next few weeks in order to use these bags for teambuilding!
--Please bring your free reading book to class daily between now and when you finish the book, which is due for completion at the end of Marking Period 2.  If you do not yet have something worth reading, see if you can find something before our next class block together.  (FYI: The high school library should be open later this week, and I will try to find us some class time to swing over there!).  I will be checking your books in the near future!
--Purposefully read the "Important Information" document and bring the necessary materials to NEXT CLASS (Wednesday, 9/11 [ACE] or Thursday, 9/12 [BDF]).  Have your parent(s)/guardian(s) review the letter and the "Important Information" document.  Bring the signature slip to turn in at the beginning of NEXT CLASS for a 100% Class Preparation grade.
