--Pick up an index card from the front table. On the index card, write something about "The Homecoming from The Odyssey" that will help us do some last-minute review. Here are considerations for what you might write:
- a significant direct quotation with an explanation ("This is significant because...")
- a purposeful piece of diction with an explanation ("This is the perfect word choice because...")
- a theme statement with paraphrased support
- a question that when answered will help clarify something about which you are confused
- a question about authorial purpose
--IF NECESSARY, MR. MARTIN WILL MODEL THE TASK ASSIGNED ABOVE.
--If you were absent last class, submit your closure task from 3/5 (e.g., "RL.1 Task"), which should be your best work, by placing the completed sheet in the black basket on the front table.
*Mr. Martin will be around to collect your index cards*
